Gil Hansen, Sr. is a twenty year
veteran and former officer in the United States Navy.
Following his retirement from the Navy, Bro. Hansen
joined the staff of the Fairfax Baptist Temple in
Fairfax, Virginia (Dr. Bud Calvert, pastor emeritus) as
the administrator of Fairfax Baptist Temple Academy.
Having completed twenty-six years in this capacity, the
burden to develop the next generation of Christian
leaders through our independent Baptist church schools
remains undiminished in the heart of Bro. Hansen. Truly
there has never been a greater need in the history of this
great nation to return to its biblical roots - to be a
repairer of the breach and a restorer of
the paths to dwell in.
